Something odd happened the other day, and I’m pretty sure you’ve run into a similar moment before.

I’m managing campaigns for a client, and the results are fantastic. For every dollar they put in, they’re getting about four back. Solid.

So we’re on a call, reviewing everything - checking performance, spotting opportunities, thinking about what we can fine-tune next.

Then the client asks, “If we wanted to bring in twice as many leads, what would you adjust?”

Instantly my brain starts spinning through a million possibilities - new audiences, different angles, fresh creatives, scaling strategies. The whole marketing toolbox flashes through my mind.

And then I realize…

“We just increase the budget.”

It’s like you’re exploring some forgotten temple and stumble upon a strange little device that quadruples whatever you feed it.

If you’re smart, your first move isn’t:

  • “Should I repaint this thing?”

  • “Does it match the furniture?”

  • “Where should it go in my house?”

No. Your first move is: feed the machine.

If it multiplies what you put in, your job is simple - give it more.

It’s funny how often the obvious solution sits right in front of us, but we look everywhere except the most straightforward answer.
